“I contacted Bright Blinds to clean three blinds and he came out the same day within 10 minutes to pick them up since he was close by at the time. I was getting new windows so those had to be installed and stained before the blinds could come back but Brent had them cleaned quickly – few days. He used injection extraction cleaning to clean absolutely filthy blinds where little bugs die and get stuck. There was also probably just dirt and dust. They were ugly. These blinds are hard to clean yourself. He did a great job. They look white and new again. He also installed them in the new windows, drilling holes for the brackets since the windows were new. Two of the windows were high up second level, so he had to use a tall ladder. He even installed two blinds that I had not had cleaned. Very nice and professional. If those bugs come back, I will be contacting Bright Blinds again.”

“Brent responded promptly after I left him a message. I chose to take the blinds down myself and take them to a drop off store near me to get them out of my house right away because the interior of my house was being painted. Brent called me when they were ready but my house wasn’t ready yet. I appreciated that he held off returning and installing them until it was convenient for me. He did an amazing job! They look better than the last time I had them cleaned almost 5 years ago! I would definitely recommend him and use him again myself. “

“Brent promptly returned my call (I had mentioned that I was an Angie’s List member). He answered all my questions, asked me the sizes of my blinds, and then quoted me his standard price per blind dependent upon size–less a 10% Angie’s List discount. He scheduled my appointment to accommodate my out-of-town guests arriving the following week; and he agreed to turn my job around in a single day so that I wouldn’t be left with exposed windows throughout my townhouse overnight. I felt that he was going to great lengths to see that I was happy at the end of the day. He arrived on time, then efficiently removed my blinds with a marking system that allowed him to rehang them correctly when he returned. He was personable and friendly, and chatted with us about his other job (he’s a St. Paul firefighter), his cleaning method (this process uses sound waves), and how he got into this business (watching his mother one day trying to clean her blinds in the bathtub). He didn’t want payment until he returned and had a satisfied customer, and I was happy to oblige by giving him a check rather than a credit card. He had warned me over the phone about the possibility of oxidation and/or paint removal on my 30-year-old blinds, and he repeated those warnings that morning. I appreciated his concern, but I assured him that I would be thrilled just to have my blinds back perfectly clean. And Bright Blinds certainly did just that!”

“One of our cordless blinds no longer would go up–it got stuck at about 2 inches up. They were able to repair it but, initially, the blind then got stuck on the way down at 2 inches above the window sill. They picked the blind up from our house and re-repaired it and now it works. It took a week for the initial repair and another week for the 2nd repair which was not charged for.”

“This is the 2nd Levelor cordless blind that he’s repaired. The first time he had to re-repair but picked it up from our house and brought it back with no extra charge. No problems this time. He’s probably the only person in town who can repair the Levelor blinds with the plastic mechanisms and his prices are reasonable.”

“We have blinds over a large bedroom window and could not remove them from the brackets. The cord was broken and the blinds needed cleaning badly. Brent came out to take a look and give us a bid. He wasn’t sure he could restore them to how they looked originally but we agreed to him taking the blinds and doing what he could. Less than 2 days later they were back up on our windows, fixed, cleaned and looking like brand new. We couldn’t be more pleased with Brent’s work. We have used him in the past with the same results.”
